Why did I create the mobile blog? It is always at hand, it is discreet and provides an acceptable result. I mean the gadget. Otherwise, it is the presentation of things that are fascinating and to be recorded, and the impressions on my way. The life writes the scenario, voilá!

11th january 2012 The route 8 stretches from Székesfehérvár to Szentgotthárd, where it reaches the Austrian border. This 190 km long route is the only one single-digit highway of Hungary, which does not start from the capital. The route 8 is part of the European route E66, it reaches the Austrian Graz in about 80 km from the Austrian-Hungarian border. Wikipedia provides detailed information, I just wanted to replace the early-morning sleepiness, and make the monotonicity of the local traffic more colourful with this note.

Its former names: from 1768 it was Ellbogengasee (Könyök utca) between the Bajcsy-Zsilinszky utca and the Dalszínház utca, from the 1830’s a part of it was Schiffmannsplatz (Hajós tér), later Herminenplatz (Herminatér), in the 1840’s Maurergasse (Kőmíves utca) between the Hajós utca and the Liszt Ferenc tér. From 1883 in its entire length it was named Sugár út (Radialstrasse), from 1886 Andrássy út, from 1950 Sztálin út, from October 1956 Magyar ifjúság útja, from 1957 Népköztársaság útja, from 1990 Andrássy út. The Andrássy út, together with the Millennium Underground Railway and with the Heroes Square located at the end of it, became part of the World Heritage in 2002. Copied from Wikipedia.

31th december 2011 Considering the program for the New Year’s Eve, I have decided to take a photo of everything I see. The ice rink is opened until 4 a.m. and it was attracting me for some year-ending fun. The ice was just renewed when I took this photo.

Hardware: fried sausage, software: mulled wine or punch. Firewall: scarf, cap, gloves. Vörösmarty always provides a nice square and winter at the end of the year. I like it, because it is ours. It is tasteful, clean, and without any doubts, global-conform. Its free from any extravagance, but it is a suitable and light fair of hungaricums – from the aspects of the holidays.
